Blue-and-white garden scenes have decorated dinner plates for centuries, telling quiet stories of bridges, ponds and blossoming trees. Ours is an original scene painted just for Chervilrow. It gives the counter a peaceful, storybook mood.
About the artwork
A small tiered pavilion stands beside a still pond crossed by an arched footbridge, with a flowering tree leaning over the water and two birds overhead. Every line is painted in cobalt on white, with lighter washes for water and distant hills.
